South Coast X-ray Filmless Image Technology Web (FIT Web) allows you to seamlessly receive medical images directly to Australia's most popular clinical system: Medical Director.
FIT Web also enables you to view images using your Internet Explorer web browser or through other clinical systems via secure URL links in the reports.
Distribution of diagnostic-quality radiology images via the web is secure, simple and fast. Doctors love the speed and ease with which images can be viewed, which also helps with consultation time pressures.

Digital Technology
South Coast X-ray is proud to announce the introduction of digital imaging with our new CR (computed radiography) system. Images are crisp and clear, with superb bony detail. OPGs and cephs are now available on film, and in digital format, if required, which can be e-mailed, posted or taken by the patient. Turnaround time is rapid and patient can return to referrer with minimal delay.
Radiation Dose
In an era where patients are conscious of health matters, radiation dose is an important issue. Our dental CT provides the smallest dose of all machines. One scan provides a dose equal to one half of an OPG. The radiation dose received from our dental CT lies between 5 to 14 times per scan lower than the dose received from other cone beam machines.
Booking
Bookings may be made by telephone or in person. Generally, minor examinations such as OPGs can be seen without appointment and with minimal waiting time.
Billing
Most examinations are bulk billed, the exception being complex studies which incur a fee payable at the time of examination. Fee reduction for patients who are experiencing financial hardship can be arranged between practitioner and South Coast X-ray.
Medicare claims
Patients can claim a Medicare rebate on all non bulk billed examinations.
